Two Teessiders are hoping to raise £8,500 for the children's charity 'Daisy Chain' in Billingham, Stocton on Tees. The pair have teamed up to fundraise for the charity by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and the Yorkshire Three Peaks. They have formed strong a strong friendship since starting to work with each other, and are now in full training for their challenge to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania, in February 2012.

The fundraiser for Daisy Chains will be held on Friday the 16th of September at Billingham Synthonia Club, Theatre Suite, Belasis Avenue, Billingham from 7.30 pm onwards. Tickets cost £4.50 for adults, £2 for children and £12.50 for a family ticket.
