A charity from the area is seeking support from people in the community for this years Evening Gazette's Wish campaign.

Stockton based Blind Voice UK provides help, advice and information to people who are blind and partially sighted. This year they are asking members of the community to send them their wish tokens which could help them receive a share of the £50,000 that is being given away to voluntary organisations.

Last year the charity received 21,000 wish tokens and were awarded £187.84 which the charity used to fund a specialist tutor to provide ICT training for blind people in their homes and with this years funds they plan to provide the same service.

Wish tokens can be collected from the Evening Gazette paper every day until January.
